Offbeat Riding Safaris have been operating in Kenya since 1990 and have a stellar reputation for providing unrivalled mobile horseback safaris amongst big game. We ride across the Masai Mara, Amboseli, and Laikipia, choosing the best routes. With a traditional mobile tented safari camp that moves with us, supported by a lorry and Land Rovers, this is the epitome of what a true ‘safari’ is all about. Wildlife is plentiful in all the areas that we ride and your guide is highly knowledgeable and conversant with the habits and likely reactions of the wildlife. 

 

When you come on an Offbeat Riding Safari you are contributing directly to the sustainable preservation and protection of Kenya’s nature, wildlife, endangered species, landscape and culture, by way of conservation and camping fees and supporting our team of safari support staff. Offbeat Safaris’ main goal is conservation and your safari supports the safeguarding of unique pieces of land, such as the Masai Mara ecosystem. 

 

Offbeat Riding Safaris offer 7 night set departure riding safaris, which are scheduled throughout the year, on which we take up to 12 experienced riders. We also offer tailor made riding safaris for private groups, for 5 nights or more. For those wanting more luxurious accommodation, rather than a tented safari camp, we offer tailor made lodge to lodge riding safaris throughout Kenya.
